Good news for PM-Kisan beneficiaries. The next installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana, a scheme that provides minimum income support to the farmers, will be sent in their bank accounts soon. As per latest information, the government will start transferring Rs. 2000 into the accounts of PM-Kisan beneficiaries from August 2020. It must be noted that under this government scheme, Centre gives Rs. 6000 every year to the farmers in three installments.
Vivek Aggarwal, CEO of PM-Kisan Scheme during a conversation with News18 said that 'The money that will be disbursed from August will be the sixth installment of the scheme. So far, 9.54 crore data has been verified under this scheme. It is clear that more than 9 crore farmers will get the benefit of the money sent under the scheme.
So, you must keep checking your status so that there is no problem in getting the installment. However, if there is any problem in the record then definitely you will not get the benefit of the scheme. Sources in the Ministry of Agriculture say that 1.3 crore farmers have not received the money even after applying because either their records were wrong or Aadhaar card was not attached.

To check whether your record is correct or not, go to the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme - pmkisan.gov.in.
Then look for 'Farmers Corner' section in the homepage menu
If you have applied before and your Aadhaar has not been uploaded properly or for some reason the Aadhaar number has been entered incorrectly, then you can correct it here.
In Farmer Corner, farmers can also register themselves under PM Kisan Yojana.
Here, the government has uploaded the complete list of all the PM-Kisan beneficiaries. You can check the status of your application by entering your Aadhaar number / bank account / mobile number.

Since this is one of the biggest farmer schemes of the Modi government, beneficiaries have been given many facilities. Government has provided a special helpline number so that if farmers have any issues they can contact at these helpline numbers. The farmers can directly contact the Ministry of Agriculture from any part of the country.
