Department of Livestock Products Technology of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University(GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to organised hands-on-training programme of 5 days from 24-28 July, 2017 on ‘Hygienic poultry processing and value addition for entrepreneurship development’ for the farmers, budding entrepreneurs and unemployed youth.
25 lectures-cum-practical demonstrations will be delivered which includes hand-on-training on the hygienic slaughtering and processing of poultry birds, preparation of cut-up-parts of poultry, packaging and preservation techniques. The marketing tips, formulation of viable bankable project for seeking loans from banks, Government schemes, licencing programmes, standards and labelling of the food products by officials and subject matter specialists will be discussed. There are limited seats (15-20) for this programme.
