Irrigation
The most critical requirement for plant development and the production of high-quality, plentiful fruit is proper watering with water. The amount of water a plant needs depends on its stage of seasonal development. The first stages of crop development, blooming, and fruit set are when crops require the most water.
Because there are so few places where the amount of precipitation is adequate to meet agricultural demands, more water must be created artificially by setting up an irrigation system. Reduced output and possibly potential crop failure will result from the shortage of water throughout the growing season.
The greatest user of fresh water on Earth is agriculture. Almost 70% of groundwater and stream withdrawals are used in farming for crop irrigation.
