Government is Organizing Pashu Kisan Credit Card Camp; Apply for Loan Upto Rs. 3 Lakhs

The government has implemented many schemes are for the farmers so that they do not have to face any kind of trouble in the future and Pashu Kisan Credit Card is one of them. 

A loan facility is being provided to the livestock farmers, under this scheme. The Animal Husbandry Department of the Haryana Government is planning to organize camps in all the districts to provide the benefit of the Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme to farmers.

The spokesman of the Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Haryana said that the Pashu Kisan Credit Camps would be organized in vet hospitals of all the districts with the aim of giving benefits of government schemes to the farmers. However, the government has not announced the date yet.

Loan Up To Rs 3 Lakh Is Available

Under the Pashu Kisan Credit Card scheme, loans up to a maximum of Rs 3 lakh are given to the cattle farmers for rearing cows, buffaloes, sheep & goats. 

Under the scheme, the loan amount is given to the farmers in a lump sum, in which the beneficiary has to return the money in a year with 4% interest. 

How Many Farmers have applied for it?

  • So far, Pashu Kisan Credit Cards have been issued to more than 60000 farmers.

  • A loan of about Rs 800 crore has been given.

  • Under this scheme, a loan of up to Rs 40783 is given for the cow.

  • At the same time, a loan of Rs 60249 is available per buffalo.

  • Apart from this, a loan amount is given for goat farmingpoultry farming.

Till now there are about 16 lakh families in Haryana, who do are involved in livestock farming, out of which more than 5 lakh cattle farmers have applied.
