PM Kisan Yojana: Big Update on 12th Installment and eKYC Deadline

Under PM Kisan Yojana, over 12 crore farmers in India are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 every year. The amount is directly transferred to farmers' accounts after every four months.

Good news for the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana. According to several media reports, this time farmers may get the 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana early.

Reports said that the next installment of Rs 2000 can be sent to the farmers' account in September. Hence before that, it is mandatory for them to complete the e-KYC otherwise, they may not get the money.

Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, over 12 crore farmers in India are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 every year. The amount is directly transferred to farmers' accounts after every four months. So far, the government has transferred eleven installments to the farmers' account and soon will transfer the 12th installment.

PM Kisan e-KYC Last Date

To prevent irregularities and fraud, the Central government has made e-KYC mandatory for farmers taking benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. 

Earlier the government had kept the deadline for PM Kisan e-KYC till 31 May 2022, which has been extended to 31 July 2022. If the beneficiaries do not complete the eKYC then the next installment will not be sent to their account.

eKYC Online process

  • Go to the official website of PM-Kisan

  • Click on eKYC option on homepage

  • Then enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code & click on search

  • Fill in mobile number linked with Aadhaar card

  • Click on 'Get OTP' & enter the OTP

eKYC Offline Process

  • Go to your nearest CSC Center.

  • Submit your Aadhar Update

  • Then enter biometrics to log-in

  • Update Aadhar Card details and Submit

  • You will get confirmation as an SMS.

PM Kisan: Check updated status

If the 11th installment has not reached into farmers’ account till now, then do not worry – just go to t the official portal of PM Kisan. Under 'Farmers Corner', click on the beneficiary status and know the reason for the delay in payment.
