PM Kisan Yojana: Big Updates on e-KYC Deadline and 12th Installment

Government said that farmers who do not follow the guidelines will not be given the upcoming installment of Rs. 2000 under the scheme.

The government has once again extended the deadline for completing e-KYC under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Now farmers can complete the e-KYC till 31 August 2022.

It must be noted that farmers who do not follow the guidelines will not be given the upcoming installment of Rs. 2000 under the scheme. Hence this is the last chance for farmers who haven’t completed the PM Kisan e-KYC.

They can do this online as well as offline. Below we have given the detailed process for the farmers;

How to complete PM Kisan eKYC Online and Offline

  • Go to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana official website

  • Click on ‘eKYC’ under ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage

  • Then enter your Aadhaar Card number, captcha code & click on search.

  • Now enter your mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card & click on get OTP

  • Your eKYC will be completed after successful verification of the entered details.

eKYC offline process

  • Go to the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC)

  • Submit your Aadhar Update in the PM Kisan Account

  • Provide them with the biometric details

  • Now submit the application form after updating Aadhar Card Number.

PM Kisan 12th Installment to be released on this date

As per reports, there could be a slight delay in releasing the 12th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana this time. Earlier it was assumed that the government would disburse the next installment by the end of August but now as the deadline for e-KYC has been extended till 31 August, the financial aid could be released in September.

About PM Kisan Scheme

Under the scheme, all land-owning farmers are given financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 every four months. So far, the government has transferred 11 installments to crores of farmers in the country. The last installment was paid in May 2022.
