Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat

Add mustard seeds and split urad dal and allow it to crackle

Let the urad dal turn golden brown and crisp

Add green chilli and saute for a few seconds

Add ginger and onion and saute for a few minutes

Add turmeric powder, curry leaves, beans, carrots, salt, foxtail millet and 2 cups of water after the onion softens

Cover the lid and cook the upma for 5-6 whistles

Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally

Squeeze in the lemon juice from one lemon and add some chopped coriander leaves

Serve it hot and enjoy this healthy dish
