This Tomato Millet Biryani Recipe Will Make You Fall in Love with Millets

Heat oil in a saucepan or kadhai
Add fennel seeds, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and slit green chilies once the oil is hot
Add chopped onion, ginger- garlic paste & mint leaves
Wait till the onions become soft & shiny
Add chopped tomatoes, salt, garam masala, and red chili powder
Cook until the tomatoes get mushy
Bring this mixture to a boil by adding 1.25 cups of water and 1 cup of thin coconut milk
Mix well after adding drained millet & cilantro
Cook for 7- 8 minutes over medium-low heat
Turn off the heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes
