Purva Jindal, 29, from
Bhilwara, Rajasthan, switched from business to
organic farming after the 2020 pandemic.
During
COVID-19, Purva noticed health issues linked to
non-organic produce and decided to promote
healthier, organic options.
With no
prior experience in farming, Purva ventured into
organic agriculture in 2021, relying on research and
hired experts.
Purva transformed her
family’s 10-acre barren land into fertile organic
farms through soil testing and cow dung
fertilizers.
Purva
planted a variety of vegetables, fruits, and even
strawberries, ensuring year-round farming
productivity on her land.
Purva also ventured into
dairy, selling ghee from Gir cows at ₹1,800 per kg,
adding another revenue stream to her farm.
Purva’s organic produce is
in demand across Rajasthan, with deliveries to
cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Kota.
Purva aims to build an
8,000 sq meter Net house and create a model farm,
inspiring others to enter organic farming.
