Horned Melon

The horned melon, akin to melons and cucumbers, is called kiwano. It is known for its unusual appearance and offers numerous nutritious benefits.

Mangosteen

Known as the "queen of fruits" , it is sweet, juicy, fragrant and very  flavorful. It has a hard purple exterior and a tangy white interior. Spherical fruit with a tough outer that has to be broken to enjoy its flavors.

Ackee

Ackee, Jamaica's national fruit, is toxic when unripe, causing severe reactions. But the ripe ones are a common ingredient in savory dishes, with a creamy yellow flesh surrounding black seeds.

Akebi

Akebi, a fruit from northern Japan. It has a translucent white flesh with shiny black seeds. The purple pod is edible when cooked as a vegetable. Its taste resembles lychee, banana, and passionfruit.

Rambutan

The fruit is called rambutan due to its hairy exterior, and has a sweet, juicy white interior resembling sweet grapes.

Buddha’s hand

Buddha's hand, a fragrant citrus fruit, is originally from China and India, but is now cultivated in Japan and California, making it available at international or West Coast markets.

Granadilla

Because it tastes like an extremely sweet passionfruit, the granadilla is also referred to as the Sugar Fruit. They are primarily grown in Australia, the West Indies, and Central and South America.
