India’s National AIDS Control Programme has achieved an 82% reduction in AIDS-related deaths since 2010, but challenges remain.

Recognizing the rights of vulnerable groups, like women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and sex workers, is vital to ending the epidemic.

HIV prevention begins with safe practices, regular testing, and the use of medications like PrEP and ART.
