2021 International Agriculture Innovation Conference will be organized by the 'International Association for Agricultural Sustainability' on 03-04 September 2021 in virtual mode. Agricultural sustainability is one common challenge for people all around the world. No matter who we are and where we are, we are facing environmental problems.
Purpose of Conference:

The climate changes. Air, water and soil, all are polluted. From the starvation to the excessive food waste indicate problems with the food system. In addition, today we are in the pandemic, where lives and livelihoods are at risk. The pandemic impacts everything in human life, every sector, including agriculture.

These sustainability challenges are unavoidable and should be faced and handled. The situation changes, so should we. That's why it is our responsibility to make the people, environment, and economy are in harmony.
How to make agriculture sustainable?

First, Innovation. We can see there have been a lot of innovation applied to the agriculture education, agricultural workforce, urban environment, and in other agriculture areas. Innovation makes it possible that agriculture is up to date and sustainable.

Second, Technology. The application of technology can be seen in every process of agricultural practices. From gene editing in seed, agricultural inputs, robots usage, AIoT and data tracking technologies. Technologies make every practice in agriculture supply chain more effective and efficient.

Third, Investment. Now the investment should be done to generate long-term competitive financial returns and also positive impact to the society. Therefore, the environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria should be considered. By the support of sustainable investment, agricultural sustainability will be possible.
