Grain Tech fair 2020

India has over 5000 Rice mills, 1200 Flour milling plants in organized sector apart from over 2000 in small scale, 200 Soybean plants, 2000 Spices crushing plants, 2000 Pulses mills, 2000 Oilseeds crushing units, 1000 Feed Units, 100 Bio-fuel and energy projects, 1000 Coffee plants etc., which are looking for new and better technology to upgrade their manufacturing, processing, packaging line. GrainTech Fair 2020 will seek to reduce the technological gap existing in the processing and supply chain.

To feed increasing domestic demand and also to achieve the export targets of food products, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Food Processing Industry and Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce are investing a substantial share of the budget to promote technological up-gradation and value addition in all segments of rice, wheat, pulses, oilseeds, spices, dairy & feed, and all other food sectors. Maharashtra itself a major producer of cash crops including rice, jwar, bajra, wheat, pulses, oilseeds like groundnut, sunflower and soybean, is an extremely progressive state in terms of adapting modern technologies surrounded by major crop producers of India viz. Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Pune, our venue enjoys a location advantage of being close to Mumbai, where India’s biggest cargo complex exists.
