The All-India Bank Employees' Association has called for a bank strike on coming Saturday i.e., November 19, which will have an impact on banking services all across the nation.

“Our call for All India Strike on 19th Nov. 2022. Discussions with IBA & Management. Outcome not satisfactory," AIBEA told the media.

United-Forum extends support

The All-India Bank Employees' Association strike is also supported by the United Forum. The United Forum of Banks Union stated that "as per the decision made at our meeting, the United Forum of Bank Unions extends its complete support to their strike and demands. It is devoted to bilateralism and finding solutions through mutual discussions.”

According to a regulatory document made by the Bank of Baroda, the Indian Banks' Association received notice of the strike from the AIBEA general secretary alerting them that the organization's members planned to strike in support of their demands.

The lender claimed that all required measures are being taken to ensure that bank offices and branches run without a hitch on strike days. But it warns that if the strike happens, it might have an impact on how things function.

It is the third Saturday of November. On the first and third Saturdays, all banks are open. Some ATMs may run out of cash as a result of the strike on Saturday. And if you want to stop by your branch, try to wrap it up on Friday, November 18, or put it off until the next week.
