The ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute is hiring candidates for SRF posts. Project Name- DUS testing of varieties under registration and maintenance of reference onion and garlic varieties are the names of the projects (PPV&FRA, New Delhi).
Required Educational Qualification- Post-Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (i.e., Horticulture/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agricultural Biotechnology) OR Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (i.e., Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Science/ Life Sciences) with 2 years of post-MSc research experience.
Salary- Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA
Name of the Post- Senior Research Fellow

Required Educational Qualification- Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/ Vegetable/Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in Vegetables/ Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant Biotechnology with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having a Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
Salary- Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA
Conditions of Service

The maximum age for SRF is 35 years (with five-year age relaxation for SC/ST and women, and three-year age relaxations for OBC).

The position is solely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for a period of one year, with the possibility of extensions based on performance until the project's completion.

Since this position is coterminous with the project, the successful candidate will not be able to claim regular appointments at this Institute.
