On social media, there is no shortage of fascinating content, and we frequently come across unusual food-related viral videos. Be it a woman eating pie while skydiving or a man eating chicken for 40 days straight, the internet is abuzz with such content 24x7 from around the globe.

A similar video filmed inside the New York subway system has been making rounds on social media. Though this isn't your typical train ride, but one can find individuals enjoying Thanksgiving dinner inside the moving metro!

We could see a crowded New York City subway car in the footage. The interesting part was how the commuters had put up a table with plenty of delectable food for Thanksgiving. The video's header text read, "Tonight on the L train, we have food for everyone." The elevated New York Subway train route is also referred to as the "L train."

Twitter user @Phil Lewis_ posted the video. Since it was shared, the viral video has received 66k likes and over 1.5 million views. The caption on the picture stated, "New York is a special place."

On November 24, the world celebrated Thanksgiving, wherein a delectable feast is a traditional component of the festivities. People were distributing packaged dishes including Mac and cheese, beans, pumpkin, and other items during the feast's New York subway version. Moreover, drinks, tissue paper, and disposable plates had been set up for the Thanksgiving meal.

Internet users left a tonne of comments on the intriguing yet unexpected video. Many were curious about the setup of this Thanksgiving feast inside the New York Metro. "Considering how costly groceries are right now, this is incredible", a user said.

Another wrote, "God bless the people who made this decision. Why doesn't this happen when I board the L Train?"

For the unversed, Thanksgiving is a time to thank God for the harvest and enjoy a delicious, hearty dinner, and what makes the American holiday complete, along with the roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, is not just the Thanksgiving feast but also the wonderful time that one get to spend with their loved ones.
