Vacancy Details
Post name: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Essential Qualification: Candidates should have first Class Master's degree in Science or Graduate/Post graduate in Professional courses/Technology/Engineering, with specialization in or related to Soil &Water Conservation/Hydrology/Water Resource Development & Management/ / Land or Natural Resource Management/ Civil/ Environment / Geology/Earth Sciences from recognized university.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience/ knowledge of water resource development and assessment works, watershed management, groundwater or spring rejuvenation work, hydrological simulation modelling, soil and water conservation, application of RS and GIS, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will be responsible for the following work:

Analytical work of the projects

Design and analysis of hydro-geological work and groundwater rejuvenation work

Capacity building programmes
-
Carrying out ground interventions work related to spring recharge activities

Compilation and writing of report and other research publications
Field Researcher
Essential Qualification: Applicants should have first class Master Degree in Environmental Science/Botany/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized University.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in high altitude areas of the state having experience in the R&D based projects.
Job Responsibilities
Field Researcher will be responsible for:

To carry out all field related work of the project

To organize capacity building programmes
- Compilation and writing of report and other research publications

Other project related R&D works

Salary Details
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 35,000/- + HRA @ 8%
Field Researcher: Rs.15000 per month.
