Eligibility Criteria

To apply for SSC CGL 2025, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

Educational Qualification

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute is required.

For the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any subject with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level or a bachelor’s degree in Statistics.

For Statistical Investigator Grade II: Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit varies from 27 to 32 years depending on the post. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen.

Application Fee

  1. The application fee is Rs. 100 for General and OBC male candidates.

  2. No application fee is required for female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

  3. Payment can be made through BHIM UPI, net banking, or by using Visa/MasterCard/Maestro/RuPay Credit or Debit cards.

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2025

Candidates can apply online through the official SSC website. Follow these steps to complete the application process:

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Register yourself if you are a new user by providing basic details.

Step 3: Log in using your registration ID and password.

  1. Tier-I (100 Marks, 60 Minutes)

  2. General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions

  3. General Awareness – 25 Questions

  4. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions

  5. English Comprehension – 25 Questions

Each question carries 2 marks, and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

  1. Tier-II (Divided into multiple papers depending on the post)
