Millets are a wonderful replacement for your regular foods. They come in a variety of forms and sizes, and each has its own set of health benefits. Because they are grown irrespective of the weather, these whole grain millets are available in markets throughout the year. Besides humans, millets are an important source of food for birds and animals too. 

There are many types of millets like  - ragi, foxtail millet, pearl millet finger millets, proso millets, small millet, Kodo millet, and barnyard millet. All of these grains have one thing in common: they are high in nutrients.
