ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC), Research Centre, Sunabeda, Odisha, invites eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. The positions are purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the project. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.

  • Postgraduate Degree in Basic Sciences (e.g., Botany, Life Sciences, Geology, Geography) OR

  • Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Professional Courses (e.g., Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Physics, Hydrology, Remote Sensing, GIS, Environmental Science, Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or allied subjects).

Candidates must have been selected through:

  • National Eligibility Tests (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) OR

  • National-level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments (e.g., DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, etc.).











Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (as per rules)




















Age Limitation and Other Information

1. Age Limit:

  • 35 years (men) & 40 years (women) as of the date of the interview.

2. Application Submission:

  • Candidates should submit their application in the prescribed format with a recent photograph.

  • Self-attested copies of certificates (qualifications, experience, matriculation) must be attached.

3. Document Verification:

  • Bring original certificates for verification at the time of reporting/interview.

  • Interview Time: 10:30 AM onwards

  • Venue: Lecture Hall, ICAR-IISWC, Research Centre, Sunabeda, Dist. Koraput, Odisha
