This biennial event, organized by the World Ayurveda Foundation (WAF) under the aegis of Vijnana Bharati, aims to establish Ayurveda as a cornerstone of global health innovation and sustainability.

Themed “Digital Health: An Ayurveda Perspective,” WAC 2024 explores how cutting-edge technologies can advance Ayurveda’s integration into modern healthcare. Topics such as digital tools for research, enhancing healthcare delivery, and addressing contemporary health challenges are central to the discussions.

Prataprao Jadhav, while addressing the gathering, emphasized the significance of this event as a convergence of diverse ideologies, cultures, and advancements. Highlighting the "Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan" launched on the 9th Ayurveda Day, he called upon citizens to actively participate in this campaign to evaluate the Prakriti of over one crore individuals using Ayurveda principles, marking a historic stride in personalized healthcare.

Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, elaborated on the transformative role of tech-enabled solutions like the Ayush Grid in improving the safety, affordability, and efficacy of healthcare systems. He also revealed an impressive pipeline of $1.3 billion in global investments aimed at advancing Ayurveda-driven innovations.

Organized by the World Ayurveda Foundation (WAF), a Vijnana Bharati initiative, the biennial event brings together more than 5,500 Indian delegates and over 350 international participants from 54 countries. The four-day event will feature 150+ scientific sessions, 13 associate events, plenary discussions, technical sessions, and an international delegates' assembly.
