During a two-day visit to Lower Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General KT Parnaik (Retd) interacted with the people of Yazali and neighboring villages. The Governor spoke about the potential for growth and prosperity in the agriculture, horticulture, and tourism sectors in the state and urged the people to engage themselves in these sectors.

Governor Parnaik emphasized the focus of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the northeast region, particularly Arunachal Pradesh, and the numerous development programs and projects in the pipeline for the coming years.

He called on the people to participate in the development process and ensure the proper and timely implementation of welfare schemes initiated by the state and central governments. Upon arrival at Yazali, the Governor and the First Lady of the State Anagha Parnaik received a traditional reception from officials, public figures, and cultural troupes led by local MLA and State Education Minister Taba Tedir.

Earlier, during their tour of the Lower Subansiri District, the Governor and the First Lady of the State took part in a plantation program at the Potin viewpoint in the presence of villagers from the Potin area.

Arunachal Pradesh, with its vast natural resources and strategic location, has the potential for significant growth and development in several sectors. The state has been focusing on agriculture and horticulture as the main drivers of economic growth and has taken various initiatives to promote and support these sectors.

The state has also made significant strides in the tourism sector, which has the potential to be a significant contributor to the state's economy. The state's diverse culture, natural beauty, and adventure tourism opportunities make it an attractive destination for tourists.

The Governor's call to the people to participate in the development process and ensure the proper implementation of welfare schemes is an essential step in ensuring the inclusive growth and development of the state.

It is vital to have the participation and support of the people in the development process to ensure that the benefits of the schemes and programs reach the intended beneficiaries.
