India Post has announced the release of the third merit list for the 2024 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment on its official portal, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Applicants who participated in the recruitment process can now access their results online. However, the merit lists for Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and 48 other divisions have been temporarily withheld due to the enforcement of the election code of conduct.

This recruitment drive seeks to fill 44,228 vacancies across various postal circles. The application window opened on July 15, 2024, and concluded on August 5, 2024. The first merit list was released in August, followed by the second in September, with exceptions for Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir due to election-related restrictions.

Steps to Check the 3rd Merit List:

  1. Visit the official website: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

  2. Navigate to the "Candidates' Corner" on the homepage.

  3. Select the "Shortlisted Candidates" tab.

  4. Choose your postal circle from the list.

  5. Access the list of shortlisted candidates.
