Minister Bhagwanth Khuba to Inaugurate National Roundtable on Agri-Renewables in India on Aug 23
The conference will cover the measures done by different groups to support such initiatives as well as the role that the Indian government and the private sector may play.
In India, using renewable energy is primarily done to promote economic growth, increase energy security, increase access to electricity, and slow down climate change. Energy, water, and food security should be taken into account while deploying advanced renewable energy solutions. Therefore, it is essential to use the same plot of land for food production, energy production, and water conservation.
A National Roundtable on Agri-Renewables in India: A Double Engine Growth Strategy will be held on August 23, 11 AM at Juniper Hall, India Habitat Centre.
The conference will cover the measures taken by different groups to support such initiatives as well as the role that the Indian government and the private sector may play.
