Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday revealed plans to build the world's largest museum in Delhi. The momentous announcement was made during the inauguration of the redevelopment project for the renowned International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) 'Bharat Mandapam' at Pragati Maidan in Delhi.

What is Yuge Yugeen Bharat?

The word “Yuge Yugeen Bharat” has been taken from Sanskrit meaning ‘Everlasting India’.  The museum may be spread over 1.17 lakh sq mts. The museum will have 950 rooms. It will also showcase exhibits on Indian Art, Music, Dance, Philosophy, Literature, and more.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that Delhi will soon house the world's largest museum, named 'Yuge Yugeen Bharat.' The announcement came during the inauguration ceremony where PM Modi passionately advocated for a third term for his government. He made ambitious promises to propel India to become the world's third-largest economy, emphasizing a rapid pace of growth and development beyond the current trajectory.

Amid the opposition Congress' submission of a motion of no-confidence in his government at the Lok Sabha, the Prime Minister presented a series of statistics to highlight the developmental achievements of his administration. Undeterred by the political challenges, he expressed unwavering confidence in his vision to eliminate poverty and propel India towards becoming a fully developed nation within the upcoming 25 years.

In response to the opposition faced by developmental projects, he criticized those who habitually obstruct positive initiatives, highlighting that certain individuals always attempt to impede progress. Inaugurating a state-of-the-art convention and exhibition centre at the location of the outdated Pragati Maidan in the heart of the nation's capital, Modi emphasized that the entire nation could witness the outcomes of his government's efforts since assuming power in 2014.

Media reports indicate that the Prime Minister expressed confidence in India's economic growth, stating that the country has moved from being the 10th-largest economy to the fifth-largest during his second term. He pledged that if re-elected for a third term, India would aim to be among the top three economies globally.

In a notable statement reported by the media, the Prime Minister proudly highlighted India's economic progress. He revealed that at the beginning of their first term, India ranked as the world's 10th-largest economy, but through the government's efforts, it has now climbed to the fifth position during the second term. With a bold vision for the future, the Prime Minister assured the nation that if granted a third term, India's aspiration is to secure a position among the top three economies worldwide.
