Green Manure
Green manure is a variety of fertilizer produced by allowing uprooted or naturally shed crop remnants to dry out and decompose within a farming field. This process, aimed at utilizing the remnants as a form of mulch or organic fertilizer, frequently involves cultivating specific cover crops intended for this function. These mature plant materials can be incorporated into the soil either while still green or shortly after they have flowered.
