Qualifications  and Eligibility

  • Assistant Manager (Legal): Degree in Law (3 years or 5 years integrated) with a minimum of 50% marks. Requires at least 1 year of experience as a practicing advocate or in a legal firm/organization. Must be knowledgeable about the Contract Act and government service regulations. An MBA is a plus point.

  • Assistant Manager (Official Language): Postgraduate degree in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks. Must have studied English up to graduation and be proficient in Hindi. A qualification in Hindi translation and knowledge of Government of India instructions on Hindi as an official language in PSU/Central Govt Offices is advantageous. An MBA is a plus. At least 1 year of experience in a reputable organization.

  • Management Trainee (Mktg): MBA in Agri-Business Management or a related field equivalent to an MBA in Agriculture.

  • Management Trainee (Accounts): CA/CMA

  • Junior Commercial Executive: B.Sc in Agriculture from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates).

  • Junior Assistant (General): B.Sc in Agriculture from a recognized university with an overall minimum of 50% marks, or 45% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

  • Junior Assistant (Accounts): B.Com from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% overall marks, or 45% for SC/ST/PH candidates.

  • Junior Assistant (Hindi translator ): Graduate in Hindi with English as a subject. Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject, or in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level. Proficiency in translation between English and Hindi. Knowledge of Sanskrit and other Indian languages. Experience or aptitude in journalism and public relations.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for Assistant Manager is 32 years and for rest positions 30 years.

Monthly Remuneration 

Assistant Manager (Legal) – Rs 40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA).

  • Assistant Manager (Official Language) – Rs 40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA)

  • Management Trainee (Mktg) –. Rs 30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA)

  • Management Trainee (Accounts) - Rs 30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA)

  • Junior Commercial Executive - Rs 22000-90000 (IDA)

  • Junior Assistant (Accounts) - Rs 22000-90000 (IDA)

  • Junior Assistant (General) - Rs 22000-90000 (IDA)

  • Junior Assistant (Hindi Translator) -Rs 22000-90000 (IDA)

Selection Procedure

Selection is based on the marks secured in multiple choice examinations.

Application Procedure

  • Interested candidates meeting the criteria can apply online via The Cotton Corporation of India's website www.cotcorp.org.in under the “Recruitment” link. Applications are accepted only online from 12/06/2024 to 02/07/2024. 

  • Exam details (center, venue, date, time) will be sent to eligible candidates. Admit cards should be downloaded from the website. No hard copies will be sent.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be listed on the Corporation website. 

Application Fee

  • For GEN/EWS/OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs 1000 and the intimation charges are Rs 500, totaling Rs 1500. For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD candidates, only the intimation charges of Rs 500 are required. Bank/transaction charges must be borne by the candidate.

  • Payment must be made online using debit cards (RuPay/Visa/Mastercard/Maestro), credit cards, or internet banking. After submission, candidates will be redirected to the SBI Payment gateway for payment. Print and keep the SBI e-receipt and online registration slip for future reference.
