Consultant Position at the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment

The Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, is inviting applications for the position of Consultant. This opportunity is available for retired officers from Central Government Ministries/Departments. The role is offered on a contractual basis.

Position Details

Job Title: Consultant for RL Cell

  • Number of Positions: 01

  • Eligibility: Retired officers from the Central Government at the Under Secretary level (CSS)

  • Experience Required: Candidates should have experience in handling policy matters, parliamentary matters, reservation issues, and court cases.

Age Limit

Applicants should not be older than 63 years as of the last date for receipt of applications, which is June 7, 2024.

Contract Duration

The contract will initially be for one year. It can be extended based on the office's requirements and the candidate's performance.

Remuneration

Monthly remuneration will be regulated as per the instructions of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance's O.M. No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated December 9, 2020. Consultants may be required to work on holidays or stay late due to work exigencies, with no extra allowances provided for these circumstances.
