Qualifications and experience:
Essential Qualifications:

Doctoral Degree in the relevant subject (any branch of Agriculture/Horticulture Science) or in a related field from a recognized University.

Working experience of a minimum 5 years as Professor/ Principal Scientist or an equivalent position in the prescribed pay scale in any branch of Agriculture/ Horticulture Science or related field with a minimum total experience of 15 years not below the ranks of Assistant Professor or in an equivalent position

Master's degree in any branch of Agriculture /Horticulture or in related field with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent OGPA from a recognized University.

Significant contribution in agricultural research/ teaching/ extension education (supported by published work/innovations).

Age Limit:
Maximum age: 60 years for external candidates and 62 years for RVSKVV/JNKVV employees.
