The ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Rea search Management (NAARM), is inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Young Professional-I & II on a contract/short-term basis (purely temporary) to work under various Projects / Divisions / Service Units.

Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements given below must attend the walk-in interview.

Desirable Qualifications: Specialization in Soil Science, Agronomy with the following experiences: Experience in working in research projects; publications in research papers or evidence for research data analysis, use of statistical software; Command in MS Office and Statistical Applications

Job Description: Assist in compiling research reports: data analysis; database management; drafting; preparing graphic interfaces / infographics; creative content editing

 Diploma in Agricultural Sciences of (3) three years duration

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in research documentation and research communication as evidenced by publication of research papers in peer reviewed research journals. Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Important: All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least one hour before the scheduled time on the date of the Interview for completing the certificate verification formality. No entry/registration will be entertained after 10.00 A.M.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Young Professional-II

Duration- Young Professional-II will be engaged initially for 01 year and extendable for further one more year based on performance to be assessed by the Unit In-Charge and continuation of the schemes.

Age Limit- The minimum age under Young Professional category will be 21 years and maximum 45 years as on date of walk-in-Interview with relaxation as per rules.

Mode of Engagement- Purely on Contract (Temporary) basis

CTC /Remuneration- Rs. 35,000/- (Fixed) per month

  1. Young Professional-I

Duration- Young Professional-I will be engaged for 6 (six) months or project termination

Age Limit- The minimum age under the Young Professional category will be 21 years and the maximum 45 years as on date of walk-in-Interview with relaxation as per rules.

Mode of Engagement- Purely on a Contract (Temporary) basis

CTC /Remuneration- Rs. 25,000/- (Fixed) per month

Other Terms and Conditions:

  1. a) regular position or assignment of any kind in the ICAR-NAARM will not be considered by the engagement.
  2. b) Withholding information and canvassing in any way will result in disqualification or termination of a candidate's candidacy.
  3. c) The candidate must be prepared to do the assigned job on schedule. According to the Unit's requirements, work may be assigned.
  4. d) The working hours shall be the same as those of normal ICAR workers. Working beyond hours will not be granted any further advantages.
  5. e) The 2013 Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redress) Act must be followed by the young professionals.
