ICAR-NIPB Announces Walk-In/Online Interviews for Young Professional-II Positions, Apply Now!

ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology (NIPB) is seeking applications from qualified Indian nationals for the position of Young Professional-II. The engagement will be temporary and contractual, focusing on the project titled "Enhancing climate resilience and ensuring food security with genome editing tools", funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Position Details

  • Post: Young Professional-II

  • Number of Positions: 3 (with potential for increase)

  • Duration: One year from the date of appointment or termination of the project, whichever comes first

  • Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated)

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must possess a B.Sc./B.Tech in Botany, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Science, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, or Biotechnology.

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates with research experience in plant molecular biology, gene cloning, plant transformation, tissue culture, and wet lab work, supported by publications, fellowship, associateship, or training, will be preferred.
