ICSSR Invites Applications from Researchers; Check the Eligibility

The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has announced a unique opportunity for Indian researchers to participate in collaborative research projects focused on Vision Viksit Bharat 2047. This initiative aims to foster innovative research activities that contribute to India's holistic development and progress across various sectors.

ICSSR invites proposals from eligible Indian researchers interested in contributing to Vision Viksit Bharat 2047. The application process entails submitting proposals through the ICSSR website, with the application form scheduled to be available from April 22. The deadline for proposal submission is May 31.

Application Requirements

Applicants must complete the online application form and adhere to the specified format for the research proposal. Additionally, they are required to submit necessary documents along with hard copies of the application and annexures, duly endorsed by the respective university/college/institute authorities, within 10 days after the online submission deadline.

Project Details

Selected projects will have a duration of 8 to 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and relevance.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation and benefits for project staff will be determined by the Project Director within the allocated financial resources and in accordance with ICSSR regulations. The following are the details:

Research Associate

₹47,000

Postgraduate degree in a social science discipline (minimum 55% marks), along with NET/MPhil/PhD and 2 years of research experience.

Research Assistant

₹37,000

PhD/MPhil/Postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.

Field Investigator

₹20,000 (not exceeding 6 months)

Postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
