The Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), invites applications for the following contractual positions under the DBT-funded project titled: "High-resolution mapping of cleistogamous trait for ensuring genetic purity in pigeonpea [Cajanus cajan (Millsp.)] cultivars".

Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Agricultural Biotechnology. Candidates must qualify National Eligibility Tests (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) or National Level Exams by Central Govt Departments (DST, DBT, ICAR, etc.).






Rs 37,000 + 27% HRA (1st & 2nd year) and ₹42,000 + 27% HRA (3rd year)










Field Assistant

Graduation in any discipline. Desirable: Graduation in Agriculture.

Rs 20,000 + 27% HRA

 

Age Limitation and Additional Information

Age Limit

  • JRF: Maximum 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & women, 3 years for OBC).

  • Field Assistant: Maximum 50 years (relaxation as per Govt. of India rules).

  • Certificates (Matriculation onwards).

  • Date of birth certificate.

  • NET/equivalent qualification.

  • Degree certificates (original or provisional).

  • Recent passport-sized photograph.

  • Proof of experience and publications (if any).
