Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Position at ICAR-IARI

The ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR-IARI), New Delhi, invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a DST-funded project in the Division of Genetics. The position is purely temporary and contractual.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	01	Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (Master’s degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Agricultural Biotechnology) Must have qualified one of the following National Level Exams: CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE National-level exams conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.	Rs. 37,000/- + 24% HRA per month

Age limit and additional information

1. Age Limit:

• • Maximum: 35 years (Relaxation: SC/ST & women – 5 years, OBC – 3 years)

  • Minimum: 18 years as of the interview date

• The position is purely contractual for one year or until project completion, whichever is earlier.

2. Selection Process

• Applications will be screened based on eligibility.

• The interview will be conducted online.

• Original documents will be verified before the final appointment.
