Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or
-
Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/Genetics and Plant Breeding).

Candidates should be selected through any one of the following:
-
National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE).

National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies like DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, ICAR, etc.

Desirable Qualifications:
-
Basic understanding of plant pathology, including experience in disease survey, collection, isolation, inoculation of fungal spores, disease scoring, and handling disease screening in field crops.

Age Limit:
-
Maximum age of 35 years for JRF (relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women, three years for OBC). Minimum age should be 18 years as of the date of the interview.
Contract and Interview Details

The position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for one year or until the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
