Lok Sabha Secretariat is inviting applications from eligible non-official Indian citizens and retired employees of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariats, Central/State Government(s), State Legislature Secretariats, Autonomous bodies, Central/State Public Sector Undertaking(s), Supreme Court of India / High Courts and local bodies for the recruitment of Consultant Interpreters for Regional Languages on contractual basis in Lok Sabha Secretariat. Vacancy Details: 05 (five) Consultant Interpreters to be empanelled on contractual basis for each regional language i.e., Bodo, Gujarati, Konkani, Maithali, Santhali and Sindhi

The number of consultant Interpreter(s) to be empanelled on contractual basis for other regional languages i.e., Assamese, Bengali, Dogri, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu will be intimated/notified in due course.

Last date of submission of application: 3^rd March 2023

Age Limit: Candidates should be between 27-70 years of age (relaxation provided as per rules)

Selection Process: candidates will have to appear in Oration Test/ Simultaneous Interpretation tests.

Fee/ Retainer Fee:

During the Session Period engagement: Rs. 6,000/- on per day basis for actual number of days of work undertaken / service rendered by Consultant Interpreters during the period of engagement in the Lok Sabha Secretariat during Session Period.

During the inter-Session Period engagement: Rs. 6,000/- on per day basis for actual number of days of work undertaken / service rendered by Consultant Interpreters during the period of engagement in the Lok Sabha Secretariat during the inter-Session Period.

Retainer Fee for being on the Panel of Consultant Interpreters: Rs. 25,000/- per annum
