Ministry of Agriculture Recruitment 2023 – Vacancies for Research Associate, Young Professionals

National Rainfed Area Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is hiring candidates for Research Associate and Young Professionals.

Eligibility and Other Details

  1. Research Associate (Agriculture)

Must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized Institute or University with at least five years of experience in crop husbandry, crop-specific technologies & horticultural practices, management & mitigation of various climatic aberrations & associated risks, mainly in rainfed areas.

Those with higher educational qualification i.e. Masters Degree/Ph' D'/additional specialized qualification in the relevant field from a recognized college and experience in Schemes/Projects would be preferred.

  1. Young Professional (IT/ICT)

Applicants should have completed B. Tech (Computer Science/Communications/Electronics)/BCA from a recognized college with at least two years’ experience in the concerned subject or requirement of post (mainly in Web Technology, Web-service, Management of Web Portal, Monitoring Information System, testing and debugging, etc.

Those with M.Tech./MBA degree from a recognized college with some experience on remote sensing and Geo tagging will be given preference.

  1. Young Professional ( Agriculture/Horticulture)

Must have Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Science / Horticulture or equivalent from a recognized college with 2 years’ experience in the concerned subject.

Those with Ph.D. in concerned subject or discipline would be preferred.
