OUAT Assistant Professor/ Equivalent: Age Limit
Candidates for the positions must be under 28 years old to apply.
OUAT Assistant Professor/ Equivalent: Eligibility Criteria
35 years as on the last date of the application for general candidates. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST / W / SEBC candidates. There will be no upper age limit for OUAT employees.
OUAT Assistant Professor/ Equivalent: Education Qualification
Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree in the concerned subject (discipline*) with at least 55 % marks/ equivalent OGPA. Candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) with one publication in NAAS-rated Journal. The candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to 11.07.2009 shall be exempted from the NET subject to conditions. NET / SLET/ SET should be cleared in a related subject conducted by ICAR/ UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR or other similar bodies.
OUAT Selection Process
The final score obtained from the distribution of weightage against each of the following factors will be used to determine which candidate will be chosen.
- Grade Point Average: 40% (As per UGC guidelines)
- Written Examination: 30%
- Publication of Research: 10%
(The best research paper will be given consideration, with weights of 2 for NAAS ratings 4-6, 6, and 10 for ratings >8)
4. 20% for Viva-Voce.
Four times the number of candidates for the listed positions will be summoned for interviews based on the candidate's overall score, which is based on the candidate's score out of 80 for criteria a, b, and c. To rank the applicants, the score obtained from a total of 80 will be added to the score from the interview.
