Qualifications and Experience

Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences, or in Social Science, Basic Science, Mass Communication, or Information Technology with at least 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience in Publishing, Communication, or Agricultural Knowledge Management.

They should have at least 5 years' experience as a Principal Scientist/Professor or equivalent in Pay Level 14 of the 7th CPC, or be an Eminent Scientist with a significant scientific record and 15 years of relevant experience.

Alternatively, candidates can be Programme Leaders/Heads of Regional Centres of CGIAR or similar international organizations with 20 years of post-Ph.D. research/academic experience.

Evidence of broad vision in agricultural research and desirable experience in Publication Production Management, IT, Information Dissemination, or S&T Communication is also required.

Applicants must be Indian citizens and must be under 60 years of age as of the closing date for submitting online applications.
Monthly Remuneration
Research Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200) with an entry pay of ₹1,44,200.

Applicants from SC/ST/Divyang categories and women are exempt from the fee. Please note that the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Shortlisted candidates must attend a personal interview at a location scheduled by the Board. The Board does not cover the travel or other expenses of interviewees. In-service candidates may attend the interview as On Duty with approval from their employing organization's Competent Authority.
