Punjab Agriculture University Recruitment 2022: Apply for Research Fellow Post; No Exam Only Interview!

Punjab Agriculture University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Research Fellow. Candidates who are interested must read the details given below;

The last date to submit online applications is 06 December 2022.

The interview for the selected candidates will be held on 08 December 2022 at 11.00 AM at the Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana.

Salary of Research Fellow

The candidate will get a fixed monthly salary of Rs.17000 plus 20 % HRA provided in the scheme, “Bio-efficacy evaluation of Rallis RIL-236/CF (30 % OD) against the early blight of tomato, Misc 26(PC-5112)” for a period of 6 months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Required Qualifications for Research Fellow post

Essential – Candidates must have completed B.Sc. /B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60 percent marks.

M.Sc. in Plant Pathology or Life Sciences with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65 percent marks. It must be noted that candidates who do not have a Masters degree in the relevant subject but have Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Masters Level, will be eligible for the post.

Desirable - Preference would be given to applicants having experience in Vegetable Pathology.

How to apply

Candidates must submit the prescribed application form along with a bank draft of Rs. 200 payable at Ludhiana in favor of the Comptroller PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. They must also attach attested copies of all certificates with it.

The applications must reach the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. by December 6. The incomplete applications will not be entertained.

The candidate should carry original certificates at the time of the interview. No separate intimation for the interview will be sent. No TA or DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
