Research Associate (RA) Post at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate (RA) under the AINP-EP Subcomponent I (Plant Virus) titled “Identification and evolution of emerging plant viruses infecting economically important fruits, vegetables and legumes crops, diagnostics, interaction with hosts and management”. The project is being implemented at the Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. This is a purely temporary, unreserved, and contractual position, co-terminus with the project.

Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields with: 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree First Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA At least three years of research experience evidenced by fellowship/associateship/training/engagement At least one research paper in a SCI/NAAS-rated (≥4.0) journal as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019	Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month (for Ph.D. holders) Rs. 61,000/- + HRA per month (for Master’s degree holders with requisite experience)

Age Limitation and Other Information

• Maximum Age Limit:

  • 40 years for men

  • 45 years for women

  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD, and as per ICAR/GoI norms
    

• Nature of Employment: Contractual, co-terminus with the project

• Terms: No claim for regular appointment at ICAR-IARI. Subject to project performance and administrative guidelines.
