Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Position at ICAR-IARI

The Division of Vegetable Science at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) in New Delhi is inviting applications for a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position. This opening is under the project titled “DUS testing of Cucurbits (Bottle gourd, bitter gourd, pumpkin, and cucumber).

Position Details

  • Title: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

  • Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month + HRA at 27%

  • Number of Positions: 1 (One)

  • Project Duration: The position is purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project duration.

Qualifications Required

  • Essential:

    • Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture with a specialization in Vegetable Science, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Life Sciences, or related fields from a recognized university.

  • Desirable:

    • Research experience in the morphological characterization of relevant vegetable crops.

  • Age Limit:

    • Maximum age is 35 years.

    • Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women candidates and three years for OBC candidates.
