Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the ICAR-funded Farmer FIRST Project titled "Participatory Technology Application and Multistakeholder Convergence for Market Led Agripreneurship and Sustainable Rural Livelihood", being implemented in the Division of Agricultural Extension, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi. The position is purely temporary and contractual, co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Agricultural/ Dairy/ Veterinary/ Fisheries Extension, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, or Horticulture with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Candidates with 3 years Bachelor's and 2 years Master’s degree must have qualified NET and have 2 years of research experience, as per ICAR/DST guidelines. |

Age Limitation and Other Information

Age Limit: 21 to 35 years (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC as per GOI rules)

Nature of Employment: Purely contractual, co-terminus with the project (up to 31st March 2026, extendable based on performance and funding availability)

Terms: No claim for regular appointment at ICAR-IARI. Adherence to ICAR-IARI’s administrative and disciplinary rules is mandatory.
