The ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Department of Division of Genetics under the ICAR-funded project titled “Consortia Research Platform – Biofortification of selected crops for nutritional security (Maize component)”. This is a temporary position co-terminus with the project.

Master's degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor's degree.

Candidates with postgraduate degrees in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Master's degree must have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience





Rs 37,000 + HRA (1st & 2nd Year), ₹42,000 + HRA (3rd Year)







Age Limitation and Other Information

  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men; 40 years for women (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per Govt. of India rules).

  • Attach self-attested scanned copies of: Certificates (Matriculation onwards).

  • Date of birth certificate.

  • NET/equivalent certificate.

  • Degree certificates (original or provisional).

  • Recent passport-sized photograph.

Proof of experience and publications (if any).
