Young Professional I and II post at ICAR-IARI

ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, invites eligible candidates to participate in a walk-in interview on 18th October 2024, at 10:00 AM for two contractual positions under the ICAR-funded scheme, “E-Granth Library Strengthening (Strengthening & Development of Higher Agricultural Education).” The appointment will be temporary, valid up to 31st March 2025 or until the scheme's conclusion, whichever comes first. These positions do not guarantee any claim for regular appointments under ICAR.

1. Young Professional I (YP-I)

  • No. of Posts: 1

  • Essential Qualifications: First-class Bachelor's degree.

  • Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Information Technology and software used for data analysis.

  • Emoluments: Rs. 30,000 per month (fixed).

2. Young Professional II (YP-II)

  • No. of Posts: 1

  • Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, MCA, or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • Desirable Skills: Experience with open-source software such as DSpace for digitization, content management, or digital library management, as well as knowledge of data mining techniques.

  • Emoluments: Rs. 42,000 per month (fixed).

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 35 years

  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Interview Details:

  • Candidates should report between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM on 18th October 2024. Late arrivals after 10:30 AM will not be considered.

  • Bring original documents proving age, educational qualifications (from Class 12 onward), and relevant experience. Additionally, provide self-attested photocopies and a bio-data in the prescribed format with a passport-sized photograph.
