Bhawan Singh is a teacher by profession and has served 40 years of his life in education, and retired as Principal. He started cultivating Kiwi after retirement to utilise time and earn income. Bhawan Singh has also developed a processing centre where they produce various products from kiwi like Jam, Jelly, squash, chutney, candy etc. He plants a few trees every year to increase the production
Durlov has experience in the Poultry sector for over 9 years. He provides skills to farmers on poultry. He has been developing a technology where producers can find treatment advice instantly by entering disease signs and symptoms of the disease. He trains the farmers to manage waste that can be turned into value. Rear birds of various types of ducks and chicken-like RIR, FFG, kadamnath, etc. and supply all over the Assam and North East also as per the order.
12 years back he started apiculture with 20 boxes to fulfill his monetary needs due to less land availability with him. Today he is working with over 600 boxes. Praveen migrates their bees at various parts of the country like Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, etc. He sells Litchi flavored, Multiflora, Kashmiri Acacia, wild tulsi, Ber, Ajwain, and Sarso honey besides various other products from apiculture like bee pollen, bee venom, etc.
Owner of Green Shelter LLP, Abhijeet works in nursery production. He started in 2016 after working in the telecom industry for several years.
Santhosh Kumar the owner of Fresh Leaves, works in hydroponic technology which is soil-less cultivation of plants.
Devidas is the owner of Shivneri Goat Farm & Seeds. He started fodder seeds production in 2013-14. He uses geographical conditions of dryland area for goat rearing. Devidas uses social media, parcel facilities to market and deliver seeds to the customers. Some of the seeds produced and sold by him are - Methi Ghas ,Hadaga, Dashrath Grass, Subhabul, Shevari, COFS-32, etc.
Sanjit cultivates Paddy straw and Oyster mushroom. The unsold mushroom is processed to make a pickle, papad, nuggets, soup powder, and Chowmein. His major markets are Odisa and Kolkata. Also, sells through stalls at various Kisan Melas and events. He also gives training to farmers on processing. Sanjit does cultivation, spawning, and processing of mushrooms.
Nantha Kumar developed organic insecticide with the trade name Nemolip under his brand. The insecticide is used to prevent the crops from damage by worms. He has been supported by KVK to develop his idea for product development.
Badri mainly does organic farming. He sells various organically grown and processed pulses and vegetables under his brand name.
A B.Sc graduate, Sunny belongs to an agricultural family. He previously worked in a laboratory for prawn culture in Andhra Pradesh and used his skills to develop his own prawn culture. He has adopted Israeli technology in prawn culture is known as Black Tiger. Does prawn culture using Israel's Bio-Flock Technology (BFT) and has adopted chemical-free rearing of prawns
