How Much Money You Can Withdraw From SBI, PNB, HDFC & ICICI ATMs?

SBI ATM

When you open a bank account, you get a debit card that can be used at various ATMs for withdrawal of money. Most bank accounts come with different types of debit cards hence their withdrawal limits may differ.  Today we will tell you how much money you can withdraw from any bank ATM card. 

ICICI Bank 

According to the ICICI Bank website, if you have a platinum chip debit card then you can withdraw up to Rs.1 lakh per day. According to the bank's website, you can withdraw up to Rs.1.5 lakh per day via debit card with visa signature, according to the ICICI Bank website. 

State Bank of India 

India's largest state bank SBI ATM has a maximum daily cash limit of Rs. 20000 and a minimum limit of Rs. 100.  

HDFC Bank 

The HDFC Bank Platinum Chip debit card, the second largest in the private banks, allows you to withdraw lakh daily from its ATM. This information was also delivered through the official website hdfcbank.com. 

Punjab National Bank 

The Punjab National Bank allows its customers to withdraw up to Rs.50000 per day via its Platinum and RuPay debit card. According to the bank's website, customers can withdraw up to Rs.25000 per day via their classic RuPay card and their master debit card. 

How much does it cost to withdraw money from an ATM? 

The Reserve Bank of India has asked all the banks to charge customers who exceeds their free monthly limit on ATM transactions.  The customer can make free transactions for only five times a month from his own ATM bank. 

In metropolitan cities, the customer can make free transaction only thrice from other ATMs bank.  

Free transactions can happen five times from other banks ATMs in smaller cities. 

The customer will have to pay a fee of Rs.20/- for every each withdrawal, if transactions exceeded five times.  The RBI has also increased the cash withdrawal fee from Rs.20/- to Rs.21/-, but it has not yet been enforced. It will start from January 1, 2022.
