ABS Honored ABCZ for First Centenary

During the Grand Championships, the President of ABCZ, Arnaldo Manuel de Souza Machado Borges, received a trophy from the ABS biotechnology center in reference to the 100 years of the Association. The delivery was made by ABS Commercial Manager, Alexandre Lima. The Zebu Breeding Camp was named after ABCZ. In the text engraved in the trophy, the company highlights the work of ABCZ and the participation of ABS side by side of the Association, working to strengthen Brazilian livestock. 

ABS is known for the certified Bull for Export. It is the Quality of ABS. Under the trade name Sexcel- Sexed Genetics. Maximum Fertility for FTAI: ABS introduces the new super fertility Bull Assessment: IATFMAX. IATF is a warranty seal resulting from a robust and reliable statistical analysis which identifies bulls with super fertility for FTAI (Fixed Time Artificial Insemination). The statistical model for bull assessment was developed by the ABS Meat Genetics, who analyze the data collected in the field and examine several factors which affect bull reproductive efficiency-cow characteristics, environment, and FTAI protocol, as well as the interaction among these factors.  

Krishi Jagran visited the ABS plant in Brazil and gathered the Real World Data about the Bull Fertility. The ABS R&D team uses proprietary data from its Real Word Data database in creating innovative genetic selection tools. The ABS is updated the Real World Data evaluation on monthly basis. Hence, the ABS customers always remain up-to-date resulting in more timely and accurate genetic selections.  

ABS works with bovine genetics and technologies aimed at the development of genetic improvement of herds and have operated in Brazil for 60 years, being the oldest in the country.   ABS is the first genetics company to be part of the Brazilian company.
