Actor Pankaj Tripathi Appointed As Brand Ambassador of Krishi Network

Pankaj Tripathi, the versatile actor, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for Krishi Network, a private agricultural company that operates an agritech app.

Krishi Network provides Indian small and marginal farmers with improved market access, quality input, and knowledge. Krishi Network is a community platform enabling progressive Indian farmers to interact with professionals, merchants, organized purchasers, and each other. Farmers employ productivity technologies such as crop disease detection, mandi price visibility, merchant visibility, question and answer forums, and weather forecast.

Pankaj has also contributed to the platform for an undisclosed amount. According to the startup, its partnership with the actor would open doors for it to reach out to the masses and interact with farmers at the grassroots level.

Tripathi's farming expertise aligns with the platform's objective of assisting farmers in growing by resolving difficulties at the silk route. "Being up in an agriculturally rich household with family members actively committed to farming and other fundamental land harvesting methods for a living, I have always been familiar to the kinds of problems Indian farmers confront at the grassroots level," Pankaj explains.

As the fundamental cause of these problems is a lack of the right knowledge, teaching farmers optimal practices while also ensuring that all of their other concerns are handled and looked into is the need of the hour. I aim to assist in my little way by funding an organization that provides a mix of online and physical support in this regard."

On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi's next film will be the third installment of his hugely famous buddy-comedy franchise, Fukrey. Likewise, in the third installment of Criminal Justice 3, he will be seen portraying the endearing character of Madhav Mishra. He will also feature in important films like Srijit Mukherjee's Sherdil, O My God 2, and Bachchan Pandey.
