Agri Leaders from the globe united in Bangkok

The Bangkok agri show, which started on 22 August 2018 in Thailand, ended beautifully on 24 August 2018. The show captured footprints from all over the world. Not just the exhibitors but visitors and farmers were travelling from numerous countries. There were various expectations from the diversified visitors. Dealers, Distributors, Farmers, Industrialists, Agri Journalists and Researchers were part of this 3 day event to widen their scope of knowledge and expertise.

The Bangkok agri show, which started on 22 August 2018 in Thailand, ended beautifully on 24 August 2018. The show captured footprints from all over the world. Not just the exhibitors but visitors and farmers  were travelling from numerous countries. There were various expectations from the diversified visitors. Dealers, Distributors, Farmers, Industrialists, Agri Journalists and Researchers were part of this 3 day event to widen their scope of knowledge and expertise. 132 conferences and presentations were overcrowded during the exhibition with huge interests in farm mechanization, drones for agriculture, seeding and greenhouse cultivation. The participant numbers hyped with 10,677 trade participants from 69 countries, 300 international buyers, and 1,653 conference delegates.

Farmers Presence :

Farmers from various countries visited the show to enhance their knowledge of farming. The show was a reflection of the farmer’s augmenting interest in advancements and thirst of increasing the productivity and betterment of their fields. Other than farmers from Thailand, many farmers from India, Bangladesh, Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, China and Australia were part of the conglomeration. One such potato grower from India Mr Tanver said,” The show has covered the various aspects of farming. With the various technologies and advancements at the show I have learnt a lot.” A farmer from Bangladesh who does Greenhouse farming attended the show for the first time and found the event to be small but helpful, he attends such events in Japan and other countries as well.

Exhibitors Presence :

The show had dedicated 7 pavilions which concentrated on countries like Japan, China, Taiwan, Netherlands, South Korea, Finland and Germany. Overall various exhibitors from more than 29 countries participated in the show. Various booths from India, Thailand, Vietnam,  Myanmar, Turkey etc were also present.

Gigantic machines, tractors, irrigating equipments, threshers, loaders, drones , seeds, fertilizers, bio manures and many more machines attracted the visitors.

Few of the booths from Thailand, especially in the HortiAsia section were highly popular amongst the visitors. Everyone who participated at the show made sure to take selfies at these booths which displayed ornamental flowers.

Overall show :

Most of the exhibitors were contented and satisfied with the show. The show is highly recommended for exhibitors from Horticultural sectors and also from machinery. The next AGRITECHNICA ASIA and Horti ASIA are planned to be held May 7-9, 2020 at exhibition hall 98-99, BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.
